Yes. Deebop is free to use. For those who want additional features, paid plans are available. Creator (£3.99/month), Pro (£9.99/month), and Teams (£24.99/month) unlock higher upload limits, 360 panoramas, and an ad-free experience. Photos, videos (up to 10 minutes on Pro), 360 panoramas, audio, and text shouts (500 characters).

Every post must be labelled as Original, AI Assisted, AI Generated, or Composite. Paid partnerships require a clear disclosure label. Beyond labelling, Deebop automatically extracts technical metadata from uploads and scans for AI generation tool signatures. If a mismatch is detected between the label and the file metadata, it is flagged for review.

For images: camera make and model, lens, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, focal length, and file details. For videos and audio: codec, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, and duration. AI generation indicators are detected from EXIF, XMP, and PNG metadata. You can choose whether to display this data publicly, but it is always stored on record.

Create an event, share the invite link, guests RSVP. After the event, all attendees can upload to a shared gallery.

No, Deebop works in your browser on any device. A mobile app is in development and will work with your existing user account when launched.

Installing Deebop simply adds a shortcut to your device so it opens like an app. Nothing changes about your account, and you can still use it in your browser if you prefer. Installing Deebop doesn't give us extra access to your device, and you can remove it at any time.

Comments can be lovely, but they also demand time and attention. They can create pressure to reply, and they can open the door to trolling and pile-ons. On Deebop, posts are meant to stand on their own, with support shown through likes, saves and reposts, plus sharing where it matters.

Most people already have plenty of ways to communicate. Friends can reach you through the channels you already use, and businesses can share a preferred contact method on their profile or Creator Page. Removing DMs keeps Deebop focused on sharing, and means you are not juggling yet another inbox.

We believe in calm, intentional publishing. You can enable break reminders that gently nudge you after scrolling for too long. These are customizable in Settings > Wellbeing.
